On Tuesday September 14th we will be holding a very special event to launch our new Champions for Music Education. These 16 wonderful people are dedicated to music education and come from all walks of life. Proof that music really helps people be the best they can be!

Our new Champions will add their voices to the roster of 36 Champions who are arts and business leaders. Our Champion-musicians represent all facets of music, and our other Champions include high profile Canadians who are at the peaks of their careers and have a joy and passion for music.

Please join us in the magical surroundings of the Music Gallery in Toronto at 7 o’clock in the evening as we ‘unveil’ our 16 new Champions with a cabaret where many of them will be performing on stage. Your contribution of $25 for this very cool event will ensure that we can make the most of our Champions as they represent the interests of the Coalition and music education in Canada.

What: Champions for Music Education Launch and Cabaret

When: Tuesday, September 14th at 7 pm

Where: The Music Gallery 197 John Street, Toronto

How Much: $25 includes music and snacks

Why: Because you agree that a quality music education is important!

This new phase of the campaign will expand the program to include leaders who are at the peaks of their careers – people who have a joy and passion for music and recognize its ability to enrich the lives of young people. Our new Champions are proof that music helps people be the best they can be and they are proud be part of the National Effort to support quality music programs in our schools.
